Rigamaroos
If you're checking out this website because you read the Diamondback and want to know more about rigamaroos, click over to the comics page. I've queued of the necessary strips.

Menomena!
I've finished the animated music video I've been working on these past weeks. Enjoy three minutes up pleasure by clicking to the THEATRE.

13 October 2006
Not From Concentrate.
The comic strip running next to mine in the Diamondback got cancelled. Its a damn shame that it happened, because we had some good comedy going. Anyhow, Not From Concentrate's final strips have been uploaded alongside Chasing Sheep. Show your respects.

10 October 2006
Rub a dub dub, piss off.
Been awhile since I've uploaded new comic strips. I've had my reasons. The strip took a peculiar turn when I collaborated with the strip "Not From Concentrate" which runs next door to mine. Decidedly, the most recent series of strips are difficult to understand without "Not From Concentrate" laid out next to it. There is a spillover effect that must be accounted for. So in my best efforts to reproduce what has been printed in the Diamondback, I've uploaded combination strips of Chasing Sheep and Not From Concentrate. I call it "Concentrated Sheep: Defrost then Let Simmer While Strirring Frequently". The strips work best when laid out horizontally, but web page layout has forced me to go vertical. There's no color in these strips, so if you're colorblind, I'm finally treating you like an equal contributor to society, even if I know you're not. Many thanks go out to Thomas Dobrosielski for his time and collaborative efforts (he's the dude that draws Not From Concentrate).

That Guy Movie
Again it has been a long time since my last message, but here's one for you: THAT GUY the movie I worked on animation for, is now available via google video. Check it out by clicking on this sweet ass link. Enjoy yourself.

Word up.
Its been several days since I posted on the bulletin bored so I thought I'd give you an update on the type of content I've been working on lately.

First off, I am assembling a portfolio to send to powerful syndicates in the hopes of getting this Chasing Sheep crap published in some newspapers other than the Diamondback. This does not mean I do not like the Diamondback, just that a boy's got to grow up sometime.

Next, I'm fooling around with Flash animation. I worked for hours and hours to produce approximately 2 minutes of animation for a movie my friend and roomate, Mike O'Brien (not me), created. It was largely satisfying work as I got to see my stuff projected on the big screen in the Hoff Theatre at the University of Maryland. Also animation related--I'm goofing around with a music video for the Strokes' song "Hard to Explain." Its some goofy shit, but I'll have it online for you to view when its done.

The final matter to discuss is a short graphic novel I am developing and plan to self publish. Nothing serious, just trying to see what I can do. The story involves hippies nad leprechauns. If you like those two things, you might like what I do.

Keep it real, keep it easy, keep reading.

30 August 2006
First strip of the school year.

I threw the above strip into the first fall issue of the Diamondback in an attempt to rope a few folks into this website. I hope it worked. I hope you're suckers.

24 August 2006

MOVIE SCREENING AND CELEBRATION!
Mike O'Brien's "That Guy" movie is finally finished and is premiering Friday, August 25 at 11 pm in the University of Maryland's Hoff Theatre, located in the Stamp Student Union. No cost for admission and showing up to the movie guarantees admission to the after party. Seein as I created the animation and illustration for this film I'd appreciate your attendance. So check it out and keep it real. Mike O'Brien.

22 August 2006
Salami
Two new strips are up. I just realized that the things I write here are the lamest. They inform the reader of nothing interesting and barely serve a purpose. I believe I will stop posting on this bulletin when I upload new comic strips. I'll put them up and you figure out whether they are new.

All Apolocheese.
Sorry about the absence of new comic strip creations. Been working on some short animation for a friend's ass-kickin cool film. Made that my priority for the last week or two, and didn't make any new toons. Now the bulk of that's over and I'm back baby, to draw more colorful wonderful. There'll be more strips up in three days. Speaking of the film, it'll be finished near the end of August and will show in the Hoth Theatre at the University of Maryland around that time. If you miss that, an version of the film will also be available through the internet. Will tell you more about it when I know. Til then, whatever.

Tough Cookies
My earlier prediction of three cartoons a week may have been exagerated. At the moment I am predisposed, working on animation for a friend's movie. When that's finished I'll be pumping out the toons. Until then, consistency will be limited. Good day.

20 June 2006 part II
Cookie Dough
I've been on a roll pumpin out comic strips lately, so now I'll give an estimate of how many I can produce on these hot summer days. Expect to see approximately 3 new comic strips uploaded each week.
It'll be bitch'n. Peace outtie 5000.

20 June 2006

16 June 2006 part 2
New strip
Here's a new comic strip for you.

16 June 2006
The only thing I did, was nothing at all.
I skiveled about with the website and came up with a new look. The same basic design remains the same, a bit more content is due to be added. In fact, if I spent more time drawing than fiddling with this website, I might have some more comics strips to upload.
That hasn't happened yet.
Explore what you can and see what you like. I'll keep updating stuff if you keep reading it. I don't know if anyone comes to this web site. I've no way of knowing, so perhaps I'm typing for the sake of hearing my fingers clack against the keyboard. Yes, I can feel the arthritis settling in. Time to take some Aleve brand pain relief medicine.

11 June 2006
Poopin
A couple more strips are up on the web page. They will be running in the Diamondback over the summer as well, but the best place to check them is here because they appear in livid color. Sweetness. If you are checking out this web page and want to contact me, send an email my way. The address is michaelo@umd.edu. Double sweetness.

2 June 2006
Strippin.
Another strip's up.

31 May 2006
More Fooling around
What does this thing do? It keeps things fresh. We'll call it, a 'fresher.' I'm goin' on break.

28 May 2006

20 May 2006

Check out the editorial cartoons in a new way.

The imagery is stunning.
Just fooling around with the website, trying to keep things fresh...like salad.

6 May 2006
Yo Ho Yo
Word up. There's a new set of comic strips up. This'll probably be the last set in a while seein as summers coming and the diamonback won't be published. I'll put more stuff up when I get it.

1 May 2006
You've been hosed

You may be visiting this web page after reading this strip in the Diamondback newspaper. If that's the case then enjoy what you see. There's some bonus content you can check. Character bios are in the Lovers section. You can check out an animated short involving all the Chasing Sheep characters in the Theatre or you can just fool around and check out the comic strips in full blown color. Just go to the Comic Strips. Its all kinds of cool.

21 April 2006
Enter Oz
As in "the Wizard of" because I'm making all my comic strips in color bitches. Check out the comics and behold the technicolor wonder.

17 April 2006
For your swifter viewing pleasure.
You may now view archived comic strips in rapid succession through the use of sophisticated 'next' and 'previous' buttons. You better enjoy it, because it took me too long to figure out how to program that poop. If you've been on the site before, I figure you'll appreciate the change. If you havn't, then whoopie. Go look at the comic strips.

11 April 2006
Word?
No. So there's more comic strips up.

5 April 2006
Better quality, better pizza, Mike O'Brien.
The comic strips have been reformated so you can view them without pixelation distortion. See all of them in a whole new light. Crisper pictures make crisper whispers.

30 March 2006
Touchups.
The site has been altered a bit so that it more accurately represents a comic strip. I suppose it has a cartoon feel now. I hope. Look at speech bubble, see.

29 March 2006
Heathens!
I'm just joshin' yah.
I updated the character biographies in the lovers so check it out if you're interested an knowing something you might already not. Added Martin, Stanley and Mike to the roster.
Oh yeah, just realized I can cuss on the internet...but I won't.

27 March 2006
Enter, thy stepchild of eternal shame.
I don't know why I wrote that. And so big, too, odd.
I've started dating whatever I write up so you can know whether it is worth reading. Well, it might night determine the value of the read-through, but it will tell you if something is new. Anyhow, I am trying to keep the site updated and interesting, so continue to watch out for new comic strips posted online and updated bibliographies for the characters. Whatever junk I come up with I will throw up here so that people throughout the world may have access to it. I am terribly vain.
Thank you so much for perpetuating me thustly.

early March 2006
Finally, a legitimate domain to go with this illegitimate cartoon.
Yes, unfortunately Chasing Sheep off Tall Buildings was conceived out of wedlock and is therefore a bastard child. But that will not keep me from loving it as much as if it were my own. Well, actually it is my own, but conceivably someone could claim whatever profits may come from it becuase I have no copyright or legal patent to my name. None that I know of, at least.

Anyhow, if you are here, then you are obviously lost. So keep on moving lest you become interested in this endless babble.

Chasing Sheep off Tall Buildings runs daily in the University of Maryland's student-run paper The Diamondback.

A point to note:
I have spent more time working on this website than I really should have. There are matters of greater importance that must be attended to. Like school.
I am a fool.
But what's done has been done and there's no reversing that, so I encourage you to enjoy my little creation. It still needs some polish, spic and span, but I feel that can wait. More features to come in the future, but don't expect them too soon for I am bogged with outside work(fun)and inside jobs(miserable).
As of yet the only feature that is worth accessing is the archive of Chasing Sheep off Tall Buildings comic strips. Everything else is pretty much baloney. But it does go well between two slices of white bread.
My diction may confuse you. It confuses me as well. You have nothing to fear.
Good night and god bless you for reading this far.
